Our Favorite Sports Betting Podcast
While no one can guarantee a win, finding the best sports betting podcast is key for wagerers of all skill levels. These podcasts do numerous things beyond telling you who to bet on.
The right sports betting podcast will enhance your knowledge of a sport you’re interested in but also educate you more on the markets, provide a list of all betting sites that have the best odds, and perhaps introduce you to a new sport you didn’t think to engage with previously.
Below, we’ll aim to put a halt to all of your “best sports gambling podcasts” Google searches and introduce you to them.
Before we dive in, let’s go over what we’re looking at when gauging these top sports betting podcasts.
Best Sports Betting Podcast Criteria
Any time there’s a list of anything like the top sports betting podcasts or proclaiming the best sports betting podcast, there’s a lot of subjectivity.
While results of hosts of the sports betting podcasts are important, we recognize it’s difficult to be a full-on winning sports bettor long-term, so for us, entertainment prevails above all else.
In terms of length, there’s a mix of longer-form shows and bite-size shows that make for excellent listening for when you’re doing a chore or during a morning commute.
So, in all, we look for entertainment, length, and overall knowledge and insight into each market.
Let’s dive in.
- 5. The Daily Juice
- 4. Bet The Board
- 3. The Early Edge
- 2. The Favorites Sports Betting Podcast
- 1. Hammer Dahn (Pat McAfee Show)

5. The Daily Juice
When you type in “sports betting podcast” on any podcast platform like Apple Podcasts or Spotify, you’ll instantly find The Daily Juice.
This podcast offers episodes that tend not to be any longer than 20 minutes. BettingPros’ Matt Perrault hosts the show and he offers up daily bets across all sports.
The intro is only about 15 seconds long before we dive directly into his best bets. It’s not uncommon for there to be a few bets across a few sports, so it allows you to get introduced to new sports.
The audio quality is a bit bassy, but overall, it’s clear, and Perrault communicates his rationale well. He recaps the previous day’s slate and is not afraid to say he made a mistake.
Perrault will also give you a unit size to wager. If you’re unfamiliar with a unit, it’s used to describe your average bet. For example, if you often bet about $10, that’s your “unit size.”
Again, this is great to listen to while doing the dishes, taking a shower, or doing another fast chore around the house. It’s available for daily consumption.
4. Bet The Board
If you’re looking for some credibility, Bet the Board has it with Payne and Todd Furhman. Payne is a professional bettor, while Fuhrman used to be a Las Vegas oddsmaker and is now a media personality. Also in their feed is Stay Green, a show mostly dedicated to racing betting that includes Fuhrman.
That said, the main flagship show focuses on the NFL and college football and delves deep into all things football, including coaching and injuries, and discusses the betting angles of line movement and what they indicate. They do cover other sports as well, but the focus is certainly football.
During football season, there are three podcasts each week for an hour or more each, so this is great while you’re working or driving to and from the office.
This podcast does a great job of providing analysis and allowing you to do with that as you may. There is a segment for the best bet, but overall, Payne and Fuhrman are there to provide analysis that you can interpret and wager however you’d like.
These two also have an excellent rapport with one another, with 654 episodes of some of the best sports gambling podcasts listed on Apple Podcasts.
3. The Early Edge
A CBS Sports podcast, The Early Edge, hosted by Sia Nejad and Mackenzie Brooks often features multiple guests throughout the 20+ minute show, including numerous industry professionals to help deal out the best bets daily. The shows seemingly don’t miss a beat, offering up a podcast each day.
Again, this is like The Daily Juice with a shorter show. That said, if you prefer more static guests, this one has it with the main hosts, but the numerous guests provide new insight or angles you may not have thought of before.
That said, it’s hard to hold the guests “accountable” should the guests provide faulty wagers. But again, no one—even the best betting podcasts—can guarantee a win.
We like the differing insights, and it’s always exciting when a guest makes a repeat appearance, especially if they helped you with a win.
2. The Favorites Sports Betting Podcast
This podcast, The Favorites Sports Betting Podcast, is similar to The Early Edge in terms of the guests, but here, the two hosts are static with Chad Millman of the Action Network and Simon Hunter, a pro gambler.
The podcast is typically under an hour and while there are bets mentioned, there are sometimes valuable conversations, like a recent podcast featuring author Keith O’Brien to discuss Pete Rose and the recent Shohei Ohtani situation.
Another recent show discussed the recent NFL transactions, and they used that analysis to provide some betting tips for future NFL divisions.
There’s a lot of excellent analysis here from two accomplished hosts who have been in the industry for years. Together, they deliver a sports betting podcast you cannot miss out on.
1. Hammer Dahn (Pat McAfee Show)
If you’re a fan of The Pat McAfee Show, you’re going to be partial to Hammer Dahn, as a big portion of the main show cast is here, including Gumpy and Tone Digs. While they’re not “professional bettors,” they’re incredibly entertaining and often have industry experts on to talk and even former and current professional athletes.
They’re not afraid to let their opinions be known and pick their favorite matchups, but again, if you’re someone looking for a more “accomplished” host that has years of professional betting experience, that’s not entirely the case, but there’s no sports betting podcast more entertaining than this one. To us, this is the best sports betting podcast on the internet right now for that reason alone.
Our Favorite Sports Betting Podcast Wrap Up
Once again, we want to preface that the best sports betting podcast is completely subjective, and our list, based on what we were looking for, might be totally different from yours. That’s totally valid and OK.
If you’ve found a podcast that’s not listed here in our top five in a sea of hundreds, we hope you continue to enjoy it and rack up the wins or enjoy your favorite hosts.
Either way, remember to bet responsibly and enjoy all entertainment, including the top sports betting podcasts you take in.
