Are you ready for a next-level summer road trip? If you’re the type of traveler who not only loves to explore the open road, but also hit some incredible stops along the way, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

This summer, we’re launching the Buc-ee’s Summer Road Trip Challenge, inviting one lucky family to embark on an epic road trip across the country. Their mission?

To visit as Buc-ee’s locations across the United States, savor the delicious food, discover novelty items, and experience the famously clean bathrooms that have made Buc-ee’s a beloved pit stop for travelers nationwide.

A fun summer road trip through the US midwest with the Buc-ee the beaver in the driver seat and a family in the back.

How It Works

We’re looking for an enthusiastic traveler to take the ultimate Buc-ee’s road trip adventure. The ideal candidate is someone who loves travel almost as much as they love or want to experience Buc-ee’s.

The selected participant will receive a travel stipend of $1000 to cover gas and lodging expenses throughout their journey, as well as a $1000 in Buc-ee’s gift cards.

The winner will be asked to visit 5 Buc-ee’s locations across the country, and rate the following experiences available at each stop.

1. Food: Purchase and compare the quality and prices of each of the following food items at each stop.

  • Beaver Nuggets
  • Brisket Sandwich
  • Fudge
  • Kolache
  • Jerky

2. Merchandise: Purchase at least one piece of Buc-ee’s merchandise at each stop.

3. Bathrooms: Rate the bathrooms on cleanliness, capacity, and ease of use.

4. Prices: Compare food, gas, and merchandise prices at various locations.

5. Crowdedness: Rate the overall wait times, from gas lines to cashier lines, as well as the crowdedness of each establishment.

6. Staff friendliness: Compare your experience with Buc-ee’s staff customer service.

We’ll also ask that the winner stop at other gas stations along the way and compare the food, merchandise, bathrooms, prices, and wait times to the Buc-ee’s experience.

Application Process:

Interested participants must submit a short application detailing their travel experience, content creation skills, and why they are the perfect candidate for this road trip challenge. Applications close on July 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (EDT).

The road trip must then be taken by the end of 2024.
