Lee has always shown interest in gymnastics – she was only six when she watched YouTube videos of her favorite gymnasts. Shortly after her father built her a balance beam from a mattress, she began performing backflips outdoors, which made her parents realize she was ready to start training professionally. Sunisa Lee has won multiple NCAA Championships gold medals, and we can’t wait to see her score for Team USA in Paris 2022.
Katie Grimes (Swimming)
At just 15 years old, Grimes was the youngest US Olympian at the 2020 Summer Olympics, where she placed fourth in the 800-meter freestyle. This remarkable achievement set the stage for her future successes. In the meantime, Grimes excelled once again on the international stage at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships, where she earned silver medals in both the 1500-meter freestyle and the 400-meter individual medley.

Grimes’ endurance will be put to the test in Paris, where she will swim the 400-meter individual medley and the 10-kilometer open-water event. The 20-year-old tennis sensation debuted her WTA Tour at just 15 during the Miami Open in March 2019. She advanced to her first major women’s doubles final at the 2021 US Open, while the 2022 French Open was her first major singles final. Gauff has since claimed seven career singles titles, including the 2023 US Open, and nine career doubles titles, with her latest being the 2024 French Open.

Paxten Aaronson (Soccer)
Born on August 26, 2003, Paxten Aaronson is a 20-year-old American soccer player who will take part in the United States men’s national under-23 soccer team in 2024. Aaronson is an attacking midfielder or winger and is currently at Utrecht, which competes in the Eredivisie in the Netherlands. Paxten is also the younger brother of USMNT midfielder Brenden Aaronson.

Before becoming one of the US Olympic athletes, Paxten began his career at Philadelphia Union and played for the US Soccer Development Academy. After five seasons, he was invited to the Philadelphia Union II, a reserve team in the USL Championship. Aaronson debuted against New York Red Bulls II on July 22, 2020.
In November 2022, he was transferred to Eintracht Frankfurt, while he joined Vitesse in January 2024. He’s now with Utrecht and will play for them for the 24/25 season. The footballer was selected to represent the US in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. He also played a significant role in the qualification for the Olympics. A curious fact is that the USMNT qualified for the Olympics for the first time since 2008.
Sha’Carri Richardson (Track and Field)
Sha’Carri Richardson, 24, is a track and field sprinter. She is one of the most promising US Olympians in 2024 and competes in the 100-meter and 200-meter races. She qualified for the 100 meters and secured a spot on the women’s 4×100 relay team.

Brody Malone (Gymnastics)
The 23-year-old gymnast has made a significant impact in the sport, particularly in the horizontal bar and all-around events. He is a three-time gold medalist at the NCAA Men’s Gymnastics Championships in 2019, 2021, and 2022. Malone also secured a gold medal at the 2022 Pan American Gymnastics Championships in Rio de Janeiro for the horizontal bar and successfully qualified for the U.S. Men’s Gymnastics team for his second Olympic Games.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone (Track and Field)
Currently aged 24, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone excels in the 400-meter hurdles. She won gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and set a world record of 50.65 seconds at the US Olympic Trials in June 2024. McLaughlin-Levrone is also the 2022 World Champion in the event, known for breaking four world records in the 400-meter hurdles within 13 months.
