Racetracks
There aren’t any racetracks located in New Hampshire that allow for pari-mutuel wagering. There’s one off-track betting facility where all gambling enthusiasts will be able to take their chances with simulcast wagering. Since betting on horses is an activity favored by many, we hope that a racetrack allowing for wagering will soon be established in the state.
Off-Track Betting
Even though pari-mutuel wagering is allowed in New Hampshire, there aren’t any racetracks that organize monthly or annual horse racing events. The last race of such kind took place in 2012. Ever since then, off-track betting facilities have become the only places where gamblers can take their chances with simulcast racing.
There’s only one operating OTB facility in New Hampshire. The Brook is located near Manchester, NH, and it was formerly known as one of the largest greyhound racing tracks. The facility also features several cash games and poker tournaments. There are huge TV screens that stream popular sporting events and an on-site restaurant.
Cruise Ships and Riverboats
New Hampshire doesn’t have any cruise ships offering sports betting or casino gambling. As we already mentioned, the only legal form of betting on sports is retail sports betting. Alternatively, you can visit some of the land-based casinos listed in a previous paragraph of this article.
