How to Get to the Grand Sierra?
Getting to the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino is easy, even if you are visiting the state without a car. The resort is located just north of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, so you won’t get lost. Aside from the four city bus lines, the casino provides a shuttle service, which can take you directly from the airport to the casino.

If you prefer using public transport, you can take lines 12, 9, 14 and 18 to get to the casino. They stop close to the casino, so you won’t need to walk far to reach the property.

Airport Shuttle
The Grand Sierra Resort & Casino also provides a shuttle service. Every day from 4:30 AM to 12:15 AM the shuttle will transport you from the airport to the casino. It runs every 30 minutes, so you won’t have to worry about missing it.

About Grand Sierra Hotel
The Grand Sierra Resort & Casino is one of the largest casino establishments in Reno. It originally opened on May 3rd, 1978, and was owned by MGM, with its current owner being The Meruelo Group. Since 2011, the resort has undergone multiple renovations, adding a spa and stores and improving the sportsbook. The sportsbook was also further enhanced in 2022 with a large screen wall, and there are plans for expansion in 2025.
Grand Sierra Amenities
If you want to take a break from the casino, you can find many other amenities at the resort. There’s an outdoor pool with hot tubs, along with a fitness center if you want to stay active. You can also find various shops, from clothing stores to ones for bowling equipment, and plenty of quality restaurants, such as Grand Café.
Aside from that, you can find an arcade, an escape room, an ice rink, and even a bowling alley. There are also plenty of events, such as UFC watch parties at the LEX nightclub, comedy shows, and live concerts.
