Casino at Horsemen's Park

With Nebraska officially opening doors to land-based casino gaming in 2020, plans for expansion and the addition of a casino complex at Horsemen’s Park are in motion. The casino, which would likely cost around $220 million to build, is expected to house several bars, a restaurant, and an improved horse racing facility. The new building is expected to be completed by 2022.

How to Get to the Horsemen's Park?

You can find Horsemen’s Park about 180 miles north of Kansas City, Nebraska. Interstates 80 and 29 intersect in the town, so driving on either one of them will get you there. From I29, take Exit 35B and then jump on HW75 northbound. Exit on Q Street. From I80, take Exit 449 onto 72nd and then turn onto Q Street to the venue.

    If you are an Omaha resident, Bus Route 13 has a bus stop within walking distance of Horsemen’s Park. If you are travelling from out of town, you can catch Route 24 and then transfer to Route 13 to the venue. Tickets for a Greyhound bus ride from Kansas City cost around $30.

The Horsemen’s Park sportsbook is the successor of the Ak-Sar-Ben racetrack, which closed down in 1996.
