Grosvenor Sport has made a significant stride in the world of horse racing by securing title sponsorship for two National Hunt fixtures at the prestigious Newbury Racecourse in January 2025. This partnership marks a new chapter for the brand, signifying its commitment to the sport and its ambition to expand its presence within the racing community.
Grosvenor Sport’s Double Header of Excitement
The two fixtures, scheduled for January 9 and 15, will feature a total of ten races. This move represents a historic moment for Grosvenor Sport, as it will be the first time the brand has sponsored an entire race meeting.
While this is Grosvenor Sport’s inaugural foray into race sponsorship, the company has a strong connection to horse racing. The brand has been actively involved in the sport through its sponsorship of Dorset-based National Hunt trainer Harry Fry and Newmarket-based Flat trainer Harry Eustace.
Simon Kew, Sportsbook Direct at Grosvenor Sport, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership:
We’re thrilled to join forces with Newbury Racecourse for these two fantastic racedays. It’s a significant step for us, and we’re excited to contribute to the excitement and prestige of the event. This partnership underscores our dedication to horse racing and our aspiration to build a robust portfolio of racing events.
