Grosvenor Sport has made a significant stride in the world of horse racing by securing title sponsorship for two National Hunt fixtures at the prestigious Newbury Racecourse in January 2025. The two fixtures, scheduled for January 9 and 15, will feature a total of ten races. This move represents a historic moment for Grosvenor Sport, as it will be the first time the brand has sponsored an entire race meeting.

While this is Grosvenor Sport’s inaugural foray into race sponsorship, the company has a strong connection to horse racing. The brand has been actively involved in the sport through its sponsorship of Dorset-based National Hunt trainer Harry Fry and Newmarket-based Flat trainer Harry Eustace.

On Wednesday, January 15, the gates open for this jump race day at 11.00 am. The first race starts at 1.23 pm and the last at 4.08 pm. Ticket prices for the Premier Enclosure are £17. There are four Grosvenor Sport-sponsored races on this day:

  • The Grosvenor Sport Novices Hurdle Race – Class 3 over 2 miles and 69 yards
  • The Grosvenor Sport EBF Junior’ National Hunt’ Hurdle Race – Class 3 over 2 miles and 69 yards
