So far, the 2024 NFL Season has been rather spectacular, including both surprises and disappointments as teams continue their battle for playoff positioning. Several franchises have solidified their status as frontrunners, while others have struggled to meet expectations. Below, we’ve included the main highlights and a few predictions for next year’s Super Bowl contenders.
The Kansas City Chiefs are at the top in the AFC, thanks to Patrick Mahomes’ leadership and the team’s excellent offense. The Buffalo Bills have been equally impressive, with quarterback Josh Allen delivering an MVP-caliber season. The Baltimore Ravens have also shaped up as a strong contender in the AFC North.
Now, what’s happening in the NFC? Thanks to their balanced defense and offense, the Detroit Lions have reached an NFL-best record of 11-1. The Philadelphia Eagles are not far behind. Last but not least, the Green Bay Packers have also shown impressive skills with an improved offense and a stalwart defense. All three teams deliver great performances.
This season has its fair share of surprises and disappointments. For starters, the Houston Texans have already surpassed expectations and remain a contender for a Wild Card spot. Despite preseason hype, the Miami Dolphins have fallen short of expectations but stay on the road to the playoffs.
The New York Giants, on the other hand, have had a disastrous season. The same applies to the Cincinnati Bengals, who are on the brink of playoff elimination.
Based on the latest results in the 2024 NFL Season, the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills are leading in the AFC, followed by the Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars as division favorites. The Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, and Miami Dolphins remain in contention for Wild Card spots.

With the final weeks ahead in the regular season, everybody wants to know one thing – who will play at the highly anticipated 2025 Super Bowl? From what we’ve seen so far, the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions are the two likely opponents. However, the NFL tends to be unpredictable, so we’ll have to wait until the end to see what’ll happen.
