If you’re a fan of Formula 1 looking for a fun night in town, you can try Wynn Las Vegas’ Ultimate Race Week. From the 22nd to the 24th of November, Wynn is hosting the second iteration of this event as an addition to the Grand Prix. You can find car exhibitions, a gala, and even some limited-edition accessories at the local shops.

Our team of experts has browsed this event and provided all the necessary details so you can prepare. Check out the article to learn more about the available events, including where they are hosted and what you can find. We will also provide details on last year’s event and the Grand Prix.

What is the Ultimate Race Week?

The Ultimate Race Week is an event hosted by Wynn Las Vegas since last year. To celebrate the Grand Prix returning to Nevada for the first time since 1982, the casino hotel organized a week full of various events. There were comedy shows with Jay Leno, concerts from groups like the Chainsmokers, and even lunches with food prepared by Michael Puck.

Wynn Las Vegas exceeded expectations in every way last year and while we’re extremely proud of our year one accomplishments, it has only challenged us to raise the bar in year two.

Naturally, there were also many events centered around cars. The Netflix Cup featured a golf cart race with Justin Thomas and Carlos Seinz, while RM Sotheby’s hosted a car auction with vehicles like Lewis Hamilton’s 2013 Mercedes-AMG Petronas. There was even an exhibition of concept cars and ones from the past, culminating in the Formula 1 race.

The Race Week’s Plans

This year’s event will be held from the 20th to the 24th of November, with the Grand Prix going from the 21st to the 23rd. Similarly to last year, there will be concerts by Marshmello and Swedish House Mafia, food trucks, and a shop with Lewis Hamilton’s clothing brand +44.

There will also be a golf tournament, while Bugatti owners can participate in a parade lap on the circuit. Here are a few of the more significant events during the week:

  • Ultimate Race Week Pit Stop
  • amfAR gala
  • McLaren Experience
  • Las Vegas Grand Prix golf outing
  • The Ultimate Fan Experience

One of the biggest events is the amfAR gala, hosted by the leading biomedical research organization. It will also feature a performance by Diana Ross, with Sylvester and Jennifer Stalone receiving the Award of Inspiration for their contributions. Car enthusiasts can also try race simulators, listen to the Drive to Wynn podcast, and browse a McLaren exhibition.

Race Day Events

When race day arrives, visitors to the hotel can experience it from several locations. The Paddock Club is located right above the garages, so you can watch all the pit stops, while the Grid Club gives you access to certain parts of the Pit Building. If you prefer the thrill of being among the crowds, you can watch from the Grandstands for a close-up of the race.

During the day, you can also find a few daytime events as part of the Ultimate Fan Experience. It will feature guest appearances from F1 teams, live performances and other activities. You can even take on the pitstop challenge to experience the thrill of a mechanic. Finally, you can get merch, attend Q&As, or visit food trucks.

Conclusion

Whether you want to meet other fans of the sport or are a car enthusiast wishing to see the latest automobiles like the TWR Supercat, this event provides a great experience. As the F1 plans to host races in Vegas for the next decade, we hope this tradition will continue.
